To become part of the green market a company needs to look for suppliers, partners and clients that are; earth-friendly, humanity-responsible and society-minded. While providing good service and market-fair pricing.

A true green company also aids the world by funding those who are working on solving the biggest problems, such as hunger, poverty, global warming, violence and many others. Letting them move easily around the market. They do it for all of us!

All of the above should be applied in a model that fits each company´s industry and business dynamic.

A true green company shouldn´t look for “prospects” to target their communication to, because a company like this would be what it does and say what it believes. It would have a personality of its own, a real one.

I´m sure that we need to be connected to the companies we choose, we want to share values, we want to feel good about using our money on their product/service, and we like to have our friends choose the same brands.

I want to apply this model in the internet-company that recently hired me, and I want to start by finding like-minded people to introduce this company/service to.

Let´s push the green market forward.

Let´s grow green.

    Daniel,
I think that businesses going green is an excellent idea, and I agree with your definition of a “green” company that is socially responsible. But, it is also important for companies to step up, show what they are doing to be socially, ethically, and environmentally responsible and reach out to clients and other companies that may not already be hip on the idea of “green”. This is the way that the green market can really grow. Sharing and showing your ideas to people that may already be like-minded might not be the best way to market yourself, but it is a good way to network, and create a community. Showing people who are not familiar with “green” can be an important step to starting a change.
Anyway, I like your idea, and I wish you the best of luck!

    Daniel -
Just stay observant as to where you use resources in your daily life, and try to accomplish the same thing with half the resources. You may even find you like the result better than the starting point.

Personally, i think there are so many beautiful ideas like yours. And our politicians fail to act on them due to the many lobbying companies that stand to lose revenue if this ideas were to be put to action. It’s all – POLITICS.
